Key Responsibilities Design develop and modify manufacturing tools jigs fixtures and molds. Perform preventative maintenance and repair of production tooling. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g. SolidWorks CATIA AutoCAD) for tooling design and analysis. Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g. stamping injection molding CNC machining) and associated tooling principles. Knowledge of tooling materials heat treatments and surface coatings. Experience with root cause analysis DFM/DFA and continuous improvement methodologies related to tooling performance. Bonus Qualifications Experience with mold flow analysis (e.g. Moldex3D SolidWorks Plastics) or FEA software. Knowledge of additive manufacturing techniques for prototyping or tooling inserts. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Proficiency in PLC programming or industrial automation principles related to tooling.
