Overview: Perform precision assembly on complex production and repair actuators, ensuring adherence to specifications and maintaining dimensional accuracy throughout the assembly process. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work from both written and oral instructions. Key Responsibilities:Perform precision assembly on complex production and repair actuatorsAdjust or align components through shimming and other mechanical adjustments as specified by blueprints or other specificationsUtilize a variety of mechanical measuring equipment such as dial indicators and calipers to meet assembly build requirementsMaintain dimensional accuracy on assemblies using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gauges, and other measuring devicesWork from assembly instructions, both written and oralRequired Qualifications:Experience in precision assembly and mechanical adjustmentsFamiliarity with mechanical measuring equipmentAbility to interpret blueprints and assembly instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a manufacturing or production environmentKnowledge of US export-controlled information
