Trade Compliance Specialist (Contract)

Our client, a leading semiconductor and advanced materials company, is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to join their team. As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you will be part of the Global Trade Compliance team supporting cross-functional partners including Customer Service, Product Management, and Shipping. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Trade Compliance Specialist (Contract) Location: Chaska, MN or Billerica, MA Pay Range: $35-45/hour

What's the Job?

• Manage Global Trade Services (GTS) compliance activities, including resolving blocked transactions and supporting cross-functional teams
• Prepare and submit Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings through the Automated Export System (AES)
• Conduct denied party screening and ensure compliance with export regulations (EAR, ITAR, OFAC)
• Support export licensing activities, including tracking usage and expiration
• Maintain accurate trade data (ECCN, HTS, country of origin) and support compliance workflows

What's Needed?

• 25 years of export trade compliance experience in a manufacturing or global environment
• Hands-on experience with SAP GTS or similar trade compliance systems
• Knowledge of AES filings, EEI submissions, and export regulations (EAR, ITAR, OFAC)
• Experience with product classification (ECCN, HTS) and compliance processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
