The Trade Compliance Specialist will ensure trade compliance in the development implementation and management of the export/import compliance program for Williams International.The Trade Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for:Ensures Williams International has current internal export/import and compliance policies and procedures (including work instructions) to meet company requirementsServe as primary point of contact for global trade compliance for reporting requirementsMaintain and ensure compliance with Corporate Policies Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Regulations International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)Review and submit license applications Technical Assistance Agreements and other requests for approval to the Office of Defense Trade Controls U.S. Department of State and the Bureau of Industry and Security U.S. Department of Commerce/OFACQualificationsBachelors Degree in Business or related field5-7 years experience with import/exportKnowledge of Department of Commerce and Department of State automated filing applications requiredKnowledge of OCR software preferredProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint).U. S. Citizenship is requiredPosition requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
