As a Trades Generalist you will be responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled level work in one or more related trades as required by the maintenance program. The selected candidate may plan and lay out construction repair and maintenance projects.The Fairgrounds are located at 581 State Fair Boulevard in Syracuse New York offering a comfortable work environment complete with free parking.This is a permanent non-competitive CSEA-represented position offering full-time hours 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Salary: The Trades Generalist position is in the CSEA Salary Grade (SG) 12. The starting salary of the CSEA SG-12 is $50425/year.The candidate appointed at the Trades Generalist SG-12 level will be eligible to participate in the New York State Performance Evaluation Program. Through this program employees receive yearly performance evaluations. Performance advances are payable to CSEA employees whose base annual salary is below the job rate for their current position and who were rated Satisfactory or its equivalent on their yearly performance evaluation. Performance advance payments are added to an employees annual salary. Over time yearly performance advances may lead to the SG-12 job rate salary of $61548/ year!Benefits:This permanent CSEA-represented position offers excellent benefits!
