Traffic Management Center Operator at AECOM

AECOM is seeking a Traffic Management Center Operator to be based in Nashville TN. Key Responsibilities:Monitor and control traffic management devices (CCTV Dynamic Message Signs etc.) across Davidson County highways.Support first responders emergency management and law enforcement communications.Detect and report incidents dispatch service patrols assist first responders and notify the public.Handle calls from various persons organizations and agencies.Create and submit work orders for equipment failures or malfunctions.Use software applications to control ITS field devices monitor traffic flow and perform data analysis.Ensure the accuracy of data submissions in logs reports and documentation.Provide guidance to responders and motorists during severe traffic events.Post alerts notifications and messages as needed.Assist in coordinating responses to disasters and high-profile events affecting roadways.Perform other related duties as directed.Qualifications : Minimum Requirements:High School 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:Experience in traffic management or a related field.Strong communication and multitasking skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Proficiency with traffic management software and devices.Additional Information : Experience in traffic management or a related field.Strong communication and multitasking skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Proficiency with traffic management software and devices.About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
