With the power of many curious minds together we can solve the worlds most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:Arcadis seeks a Junior ITS / Traffic Signal Technician with a wide variety of experience to join the team in Jacksonville this role you will assist our growing ITS & Traffic engineering group on various projects in the Southeast. This is an excellent opportunity with great potential for growth!This role will sit within the larger Global Mobility Business Area. We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change urbanization and digitization trends are requiring todays mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the worlds growing population. We design connected sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies and optimize the mobility of people and goods.Role accountabilities:The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to work at heights and be prepared to travel to assignments throughout the Southeast United States. They should possess knowledge of electrical and electronic systems along with technical experience working with traffic signals CCTVs Ethernet switches travel time readers and wireless technologies. Strong customer service experience is required as well as good written and verbal communication skills.Maintenance and Repair of Traffic Signal and ITS devices (Reactive Proactive and Preventative Maintenance)Troubleshoot traffic signal components and devicesQuickly respond to notifications from the clientBecome familiar with client ITS network and communications architectureDemonstrate experience with client traffic signal systemsTraffic signal ground and aerial preventative maintenanceQualifications & Experience:High school diploma level education or equivalent4 or more years of experience in specialist/technical area of workWillingness to work at heightsIMSA Traffic Signal Technician or the willingness to obtain after hirePreferred Qualifications:IMSA Level 1 PreferredWhy ArcadisWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
