We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.The Training Specialist will provide support and assistance to program participants in all areas related to education and training.ResponsibilitiesProvide consistent and comprehensive case management coaching and follow-upProvide individualized assessment of work family and personal development needs and opportunitiesAdhere to program policies and proceduresAct as a liaison between the program and regional training providersAssist participants with identifying and enrolling in suitable training programsUse a coaching approach to create collaborative transparent relationships with participants and work with them to advance their own defined goalsProvide referrals to appropriate community service or social service agencies when neededConduct regular contacts/meetings with participants and document all contacts and activities in case notesCreate activity plans that adhere to program policies and satisfy participation requirementsAssist in the preparation of project reports as needed (participation placement etc.)Assist participants in eliminating challenges that are hindrances to obtaining and retaining employmentEnsure that participant documentation is complete accurate and validCoach participants in work readiness skills and career exploration strategiesEnsure that participants follow through with planned activities create solutions to participant attendance problems and conduct participant noncompliance processesCollaborate and communicate effectively with partner agenciesPerform required data entries timely and accuratelyMonitor participants activities to meet the states Work Participation Rate (WPR) requirementsOther opportunities as availableQualificationsAbility to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts Demonstrated telephone computer and written communication skillsAbility to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor requireBachelors Degree or equivalent experience in human services or a related field preferredCustomer service experience preferredA working knowledge of MS OfficeBring your expertise to EDSI and live our values every day: Show Up Smile and Support!EDSI is a progressive forward-thinking family-owned company that is Certified Evergreen.Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Car Driving,Apache,Import,Back Office Operations,Accident Investigation Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Yearly Salary Salary: 47000 - 52000
