Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary: The Training and Development Manager (TDM) leads the design, execution, and continuous improvement of learning initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role partners closely with Human Resources, educators, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to develop impactful training strategies, manage program logistics, and ensure a seamless learner experience from enrollment through completion. The TDM will lead the Education team to ensure compliance with audits and requirements to ensure organizational compliance with the PACE model and strategic goals. Location: Position is based in Forest Hills, PA with extensive local travel throughout Community LIFE service area (mileage reimbursed). See listing of all locations hereRequired Education: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred, in Human Resources, Education, Training & Development or similar.Required Experience: 10+ years total experience in training, talent development, or instructional design, including content creation and program coordination, preferably in a healthcare or social services environment. .Required Skills & Abilities:Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and operational proceduresProven ability to manage complex training initiatives, prioritize diverse tasks, and meet tight deadlinesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams required)Proficiency with learning technologies: Learning Management Systems (eg. Relias), analytics, AI-driven toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, learner-focused approachDetail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently and within decentralized teamsSkilled in identifying issues, solving problems, and making sound decisions to support learning outcomesRequired Certifications/Licensing: CPR Instructor Certification (can be obtained after hire). Valid PA Driver’s License.
