Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:This position is currently open, we are accepting applications.Prevailance is seeking an experienced Training Systems Curriculum Specialist to provide onsite curriculum development, conversion, and authoring-tool support to Learning Standards Offices (LSOs) across the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) domain. This role focuses on modifying existing curriculum, converting courseware between Navy-authoring tools, and providing hands-on training and guidance to government and instructor personnel.The ideal candidate brings strong military curriculum development experience and proficiency with Navy training authoring environments such as Content Planning Module (CPM), Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM), and Learning Engine Authoring Development (LEAD).Key Responsibilities:Serve as an onsite subject-matter expert supporting LSOs across the SCSTC enterpriseProvide hands-on CPM and LEAD support, including troubleshooting, workflow guidance, and tool instructionModify existing curriculum in collaboration with LSOs, ensuring compliance with Navy standards and data structuresLead or support curriculum conversion efforts from AIM/CPM to LEADDevelop training aids, job aids, and reference materials to support curriculum developers and instructorsDeliver virtual and in-person training sessions on curriculum authoring processes and toolsetsCoordinate with SCSTC Headquarters to track progress, milestones, and completion of ongoing course conversionsRequirements:Demonstrated experience developing or modifying military training curriculum (any branch)Familiarity with government curriculum authoring tools such as AIM I/II, CPM, LOM, or LEADAbility to develop training aids, job aids, and user support documentationExperience providing training or instructional sessions to end usersAbility to work onsite and collaborate directly with Government representatives and SCSTC LSOsDesiredHands-on proficiency with: CPMAIM I / AIM IILOMLEADExperience converting or restructuring curriculum between authoring tools (e.g., AIM to CPM to LEAD)Prior experience supporting Navy training commands, NETC processes, or SCSTC learning sitesEducationAssociate’s degree or higher in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Education, Training Technology, or a related fieldEquivalent SME-level experience in military curriculum development may be acceptableSecurity ClearanceMust possess and maintain a Secret Security ClearanceIf you meet these qualifications and are ready to make an impact, we encourage you to apply today!Prevailance, Inc. proudly supports veterans as a member of the V3 (Virginia Values Veterans) program and the Hire Vets initiative.
