The position isremote with preferred locations in San Diego CA Houston TX or Denver CO. The Project Manager will perform activities including scheduling and monitoring engineering design activities coordinating with the client securing new work creating proposals and change orders and serving as the primary point of contact for project responsibilities. The position involves managing internal personnel and providing technical expertise on projects to inform decisions regarding schedule budget and scope. The position may also include engineering activities such as calculations modeling and design for transmission lines distribution lines substations structures and associated power delivery systems.At Verdantas our Power team is transforming the electric utility industry through innovative impactful projects. Apply today and make a lasting impact.What Youll Do:SchedulingMonitoring the progress of the projectCommunication and coordination with the clientSelling new work and other business development tasks like client outreachDrafting proposals for new workCreating change orders and tracking project budgetsResource allocation on the projectMain point of contact for all engineers drafters and designers on the projectApproving and editing timesheets for all direct reportsDirecting internal and external meetings pertainng to the project scope/scheduleWhat Youll Bring:Bachelors degree in civil/electrical/mechanical engineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred10 years of total professional experience in Power Delivery with experience on Substation Transmission Line or Distribution projects preferably with utility or consulting firmsPMP Certification is a plus4-5 years of focused project management experienceExperience working for major Investor-Owned Utilities in the United StatesProficiency in scheduling software Primavera MS Project etc.Excellent communication and leadership skillsSalary Range:At Verdantas we offer comprehensive benefits packages for our employees. Actual salary is based on the circumstances of each position and candidate such as geographic location skills and certifications.
