We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Permanent Transportation Project Engineer to join our team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable Engineering firm, renowned for its expertise in delivering high-quality transportation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing transportation projects, with a specific focus on roadway infrastructure. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a proven track record of successful project management and execution.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Transportation Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Developing and designing transportation projects, with a particular emphasis on roadway infrastructure.
2. Managing and overseeing all phases of the project from conception to completion.
3. Coordinating with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
4. Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments, and developing mitigation strategies.
5. Preparing and presenting project reports, proposals, technical drawings, and specifications.
6. Ensuring all projects adhere to safety regulations, environmental policies, and engineering best practices.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
8. Keeping abreast of industry advancements and applying this knowledge to improve processes and project outcomes.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a focus on transportation projects and roadway infrastructure.
3. Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
4. Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and liaise with various stakeholders.
8. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.
