Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Davis & Floyd is seeking a talented Transportation Engineer for our Columbia, SC office. We are looking for professionals with experience related to roadway design for public agencies including state departments of transportation and local governments and have extensive experience utilizing Microstation and Geopak software. This position requires an engineering background in the design of roadway projects with exposure to roadway drainage design, NEPA requirements, traffic control, and permitting for all types of roadway projects. Responsibilities include capability to lead the development of preliminary plans through final construction plans and specifications in accordance with DOT methodology with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
