Transportation Engineering Specialist to join the team. This position offers excellent potential for career advancement as this individual would assist staff and our other offices who have a direct impact on the improvement of our national infrastructure. The ideal candidate is an individual who desires to be part of a team displays confidence and possesses a vast understanding of roadway design principles.***** This position is not eligible for sponsorship *****Responsibilities include:Providing professional design services for transportation improvement projects for the PDOT and local County/City agenciesDeveloping design plans including horizontal and vertical alignments cross sections typical sections superelevation data and miscellaneous roadway detail sheetsDesigning to adhere to ADA StandardsCoordinating design development and providing technical direction and mentorship to the design teamCoordinating with the design team to achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget and the development of specifications cost estimates reports and preparing final bid packagesAssisting with the preparation of technical and cost proposals.Maintaining relationships with client technical staff and project managersAttending project meetings with clients sub-consultants and the project teamRequired Skills:Bachelors degree in Civil EngineeringSuccessful completion of the FE exam to earn your EIT.0 years of experience.PDOT and municipal client experience is a plusProficient with MicroStation and Inroads/OpenRoads modeling design softwareOpenRoads Designer experience is a plusExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with AASHTO and local agency design standards is required.Strong oral and written communication skills#LI-OnsiteCompensation Range:$58672.52 - $78230.03Dont meet every single requirement Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification.
