Join us and take your place in space.Job Summary The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Learning Programs Staff professional to take the lead in managing the design, development, and delivery of an extensive portfolio of learning programs for The Aerospace University (AU).With experience in learning system design or talent development, this position is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of curriculum in their assigned knowledge and subject area for AU.This position works closely with AU leadership to establish learning requirements and devise strategies to meet those requirements using innovative approaches and modern workplace learning and development methodologies.The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, onsite at our campus facility in El Segundo, CA. What You'll Be Doing End-to-end management of learning programs in assigned subject area.Collaborate with Aerospace University (AU) leadership to assess development needs and align programs with corporate priorities.In collaboration with AU Instructional Designers, apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles to develop and deploy effective learning programs for diverse delivery methods such as in-person, virtual sessions, and online self-paced trainingDevelop and implement comprehensive curriculum frameworks, learning paths, and innovative training strategies.Manage relationships with subject matter experts, trainers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and resource optimization.Monitor budgets, allocate funds, and provide business justification for additional investment in learning initiatives.Report portfolio achievements, milestones, and learner engagement metrics to senior leadershipFacilitate the delivery of virtual training sessions on a variety of topics, adapting to the needs of the audience and leveraging interactive and engaging teaching methods.What You Need to be Successful - Learning Programs Staff IIIMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Education, Business, Communication, or a related field.Five to seven years of related learning development experience with a track record in designing and managing learning solutions.Extensive experience with collaboration tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.Solid grasp of instructional design and adult learning theories.Solid understanding of learning management systems.Skilled in project management, budget oversight, and stakeholder engagement.How You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if you have: Advanced degree in a related fieldWe offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
