HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Asheville, North Carolina.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Certified Surgical TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelGeneral InformationUnit Specifics: TRAVEL - CST - CVOR (703) 6:00AM-4:30PM (948817) MUST HAVE CVOR EXPERIENCE AND 2 TRAVEL ASSIGNMENTS Number of Beds : 4Patient Ratios :1:1Unit staffing description- RNs, support from CNC, secretary, Manager, etc. shared with CVORType of equipment : GE Carescape Monitoring, Fuji u/sDocumentation system: CernerScheduling requirements: M-F 0500-1330On Call Requirements: Stay late 1-2/weekFloating policy: Within scope of practice and experiencePatient Experience requirements: Critical Care experience a must, PreOp experience a plusHospital Specifics-Certifications: BLS Requested Skill Set: BCMA, excellent documentation, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area, excellent communication skills with interdepartmental teamMust have: good critical thinking skills Procedures performed on unit: large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement.
