Join our Cardiac ICU teamNow Hiring: Travel Cardiovascular ICU Registered NurseLocation: Utica, NYSchedule: Guaranteed 48 hour Night shift (7p-730a) Duration: 13 weeksImportant: Applicants must reside 75 miles or more from zip code 13502Key Responsibilities:• Administer a variety of medications, including IV drips, vasopressors, and antiarrhythmics, and adjust dosages as needed• Provide critical care to patients with severe heart conditions, especially those recovering from cardiac surgery like bypasses, valve replacements, or heart transplants• Collaborate with the healthcare team, adjust treatment plans, and provide emotional support to patients and their families• Manage and adjust settings on ventilators and monitor and maintain chest tubes and other surgical devices. • Provide specialized care after cardiac surgeries, including wound care, pain management, and assisting with early ambulationQualifications:• Active NY RN license • Minimum 2 years working in CVICU • Experience with fresh hearts is Required• American Heart BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required• Recent EPIC experience is requiredAdecco Job ID #US_EN_99_020282_2481481.
