Travel Nurse - RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2400 / Week at Lancesoft
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Peoria, Illinois
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: March 2, 2026
Shift: Night Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is responsible for providing comprehensive, high-acuity patient care in a critical care setting. The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing reassessments of critically ill patients
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on patient condition and unit standards
Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Monitor patient hemodynamic status, ventilators, and life-support equipment
Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies and reporting safety concerns
Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
Required Qualifications
Active Illinois RN license in good standing
Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications required
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Previous travel nursing experience
