About the Opportunity

Peak Dental Implants & Oral Surgery is opening a brand-new, purpose-built oral surgery practice in Windsor, Connecticut, led by an established oral and maxillofacial surgeon. As part of our founding team, we are seeking a Treatment Coordinator who will play a central role in supporting both patient care and front office operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, explaining treatment and financial details, answering phones, and supporting check-in and check-out to ensure every visit runs smoothly from start to finish.


What You’ll Do

Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming, professional experience from first phone call through check‑outAnswer phones promptly and communicate with patients, referring offices, and team members in person, by phone, and electronicallyCoordinate patient care by understanding provider treatment recommendations and developing accurate treatment plansExplain procedures, treatment options, and associated costs clearly and compassionatelyPrepare cost estimates and collect patient financial responsibility and payments in a professional mannerSchedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider availability, and efficient use of treatment roomsSupport daily provider schedules and manage patient flow to help minimize wait timesGreet patients upon arrival and assist with check‑in and check‑out processesUpdate and maintain patient insurance information, charts, and documentationMaintain professional relationships with referring officesEnsure confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAASupport front office operations and assist with additional duties as needed to keep the practice running smoothly

What You’ll Bring

High school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 1 year of customer service experience (healthcare, dental, or medical preferred)Dental or oral surgery experience requiredComfort discussing treatment plans and financial responsibilities with patientsFriendly, professional, and patient-centered communication styleStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with dental terminology and practice management systems a plusAbility to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative team members
