Jenks Public Schools Job DescriptionPosition: Trojan Shop Assistant ManagerReports to: Trojan Shop ManagerSupervises: NoneQualifications: High School diploma or GED required.One (1) year of retail experience and/or training.Strong computer and technology skills.Previous experience with social media and website management.Excellent communication problem solving and customer relations skills.Ability to lift thirty pounds to a shoulder height.Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.Position Goal: To assist in managing the daily operations of the Trojan Shop.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Assist in managing the general functions of the retail store.Design and manage the online store.Coordinate special order and fundraising projects for District departments and groups.Collaborate with the Trojan Shop Manager to forecast consumer demand and order store merchandise.Assist in taking the Trojan Shop to school athletic and community events.Create and rotate store and window displays to showcase merchandise.Develop and implement an effective store advertising program including social media marketing and website maintenance.Assist in maintaining accurate store records including perpetual inventory.Help train and assist all employees in the functions of a retail operation.Perform all other duties as assigned.Employment Terms:Twelve (12) month classified hourly contractFLSA Qualification:Non-ExemptEvaluation:Jenks Public Schools Classified EvaluationPhysical Demands:This is an overview intended for compliance with the ADA it is not an exhaustive list of the duties to be performed.
