Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year A bit about us: We are working with a national Am Law 200 law firm that advises regional, national, and global businesses on a wide range of sophisticated legal matters across more than 25 specialized practice and industry groups! They are currently looking for an Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience in estate planning to join the Trusts & Estates Practice Group! Locations: Cincinnati, OH & Cleveland, OH Schedule: Hybrid remote/office schedule after training period Base Salary: $150k-$200k/year Billable hour requirement: 1800/year (150 of those hours are allocated for training and pro-bono work - bonuses off of 1650/year!) Hybrid remote/office schedule Job Details Our Trusts & Estates attorneys counsel families and individuals regarding the administration and disposition of their estates through basic and sophisticated lifetime, estate and charitable planning. Attorneys in this department also work with our corporate clients on succession issues and our charitable institution clients on planned giving matters. Responsibilities: Preparation of wills, revocable trusts, and powers of attorney Assistance and preparation of governing documents for advanced transfer tax planning strategies (i.e. gifting trusts, ILITs, SLATs, GRATs) Research and analysis of estate, gift, GST and income tax issues Research and analysis of complex state law and federal tax law issues. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Qualifications: Ohio law license is required; Kentucky law license is preferred. 2-3 years of experience in estate planning.
