We are united by a common mission: to deliver services and technology that fundamentally change how skilled workers and the businesses they serve get hard work done.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Turnaround Execution Coordinator II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing facility shutdowns and turnarounds in industrial environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of industrial operations, exceptional coordination skills, and the ability to manage complex, time-sensitive projects. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure turnaround activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget while minimizing downtime.ResponsibilitiesTurnaround Planning & Coordination:Provide early design input for brownfield expansion projects, addressing operational learnings to minimize required downtimeFinalize comprehensive shutdown plans including categorization, scope lists, execution timing/sequencing, and isolation philosophyCoordinate with multifunctional planning teams to complete integrated schedules and checkpoint deliverablesConduct lean thinking reviews to optimize scope and execution approachDevelop and track supporting plans including communication, contingency, emergency response, staffing, and contractor managementSteward tracking of integrated plan activities through final go/no-go decision pointsCoordinate pre-work requirements including materials and initial activitiesOversee development of detailed isolation plans and finalization of Management of Change (MOC) documentationFacilitate reviews with senior leadership on checkpoint milestones and post-shutdown lookback assessmentsMentorship & Process Improvement:Mentor less experienced shutdown coordinators on best practices and shutdown management processesSupport the development and refinement of integrated scheduling tools (Primavera, Microsoft Project, etc.)Provide feedback on enhancement opportunities for shutdown execution schedule KPIs and planning processesAssist in developing crash planning and preparation processes for unplanned shutdownsDocument lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesSkills and QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field5+ years of experience in turnaround/shutdown planning and execution in industrial environmentsDemonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and scheduling toolsStrong understanding of industrial safety protocols and requirementsExperience with Management of Change (MOC) processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organizationAdvanced proficiency with project scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDemonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet critical deadlinesPreferred:Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or related fieldExperience in petrochemical, refining, or other process manufacturing industriesKnowledge of lean methodologies and continuous improvement processesExperience with emergency response and contingency planningBackground in maintenance reliability or operations in industrial settingsCompany DescriptionRigUp is where the best workers power the world’s most successful projects.
