The children in these classrooms are ages 3 to 4yrs old and Teacher: Child ratio is 1:8.IMMEDIATE OPENING!QualificationsMUST BE FULLY VACCINATED12 core unit classes with a grade of C or better are required. ( child development, child-family-community, curriculum)Work experience in a licensed childcare facility as a teacher.Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency (Title 22) including immunization, health screening,finger-printing and background checkMust be able to lift up 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergencies.Job Responsibilities:Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of children in a teacherTeachers should be able to assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basisThe teacher provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the childrenThe teacher ensures that all class bulletin boards are current and provides the parents with an overview of the material taught in classAccepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas, and playgroundsAssists and coordinates snacks, meals, naptime, and bathroom activitiesAttends all required staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functions as determined by the DirectorObserve all rules and regulations about the health, safety, and care of childrenMaintains a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all timesPlans with Education Coach and implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materialsPlans with the Director all required parent-teacher conferences and student evaluationsPerforms other duties as assigned.Able to work on iPad to log children's daily activities.Must be able to work on iPad to enter children's daily logs, and write incident reports and messages to parents.We are looking for a teacher who is warm-hearted and who can introduce play-based activities and give children the care and love their need. intuitive teacher to provide learning with a lot of verbal focus and provide potty training support for our child.
