Job Description
General Duties and Responsibilities Promote and uphold The McWane Way principles values and behaviors.Adhere to safety protocols outline in the Tyler Union Safety Management Program.Assist supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Follow ergonomic and safe lifting techniques.Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues. Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)Develop work plans for corrective preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.Create and schedule maintenance work orders in CMMS.Ensure materials tools and labor are available prior to work.Review job plans with maintenance supervisors and crafts.Monitor and report on maintenance metrics (e.g. backlog schedule adherence downtime).Assist in root cause analysis and reliability improvement efforts.Maintain BOMs parts lists and spare parts inventory.Lead planning / coordination meetings.Ensure compliance with safety environmental and maintenance standards.Update maintenance documentation drawings procedures.Provide support during shutdowns outages or critical events.Qualifications : To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience Associate or Bachelors degree in engineering maintenance technology or industrial operations or equivalent experience.At least three (3) years of maintenance planning / scheduling experience (heavy manufacturing preferred).Experience with CMMS (SAP Maximo etc.).Good analytical organizational and communication skills.Ability to interpret mechanical / electrical schematics and technical drawings.Knowledge of reliability practices predictive maintenance.Familiarity with maintenance KPIs and metrics.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks adapt to changing priorities.Strong attention to detail.Related certification (e.g. CMRT CMRP PMP) preferred.Physical & Cognitive AbilitiesFrequent standing walking bending and lifting.Primarily on-site in a foundry environment with exposure to heat noise and industrial equipment.Physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body include climbing lifting to 50 pounds balancing walking standing stooping and handling tools and materials.The work environment varies from a typical office setting to a plant environment that may be hot cold dusty and noisy. It is a requirement to be in and out of the plant on a regular basis.
