Responsibilities

Here we GROW again! Our Mayo Clinic Radiology department continues to grow in innovation, education, and technology. As we continue to add the most advanced, high technology scanners to our fleet, we are looking for amazing Ultrasound Technologists to join our team. Our Ultrasound Technologists autonomously performs high quality, advanced diagnostic ultrasound imaging required for tertiary care in outpatient and inpatient settings, including abdominal, vascular, abdominal vasculature, small parts, and OBGYN exams. 

Join our world-renowned team and you will receive: 

  • Up to $15,000 sign on bonus for Full Time positions
    • $5,000 sign on bonus for candidates with a minimum of 1 year radiology experience and/or hired into part time positions
    • $15,000 sign on bonus for candidates hired into a full-time position with a minimum of 1 year Ultrasound Tech experience

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program and /or ARDMS registered or registry eligible. 
  • One year of experience as a Sonographer preferred.
  • Associate degree or above preferred
  • ARDMS registered or registry eligible in the areas of abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology (OB/GYN) and vascular technology (RVT). 
  • ARDMS registered in Abdomen, Obgyn, and RVT within 18 months of Mayo employment. 
  • Each certification should be achieved every 6 months. 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of start date.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. Career and salary growth potential within a three-tier system (Tech Levels I, II, III)

Schedule Details

10-hr shifts, every 3rd weekend. Weekdays vary. Start times range from 630a - 9a. Weekend 10-hrs start from 8a - 11a. (.75 FTE or 0.5 FTE available)

Weekend Schedule

All positions help cover off-shifts (2nd & 3rd), back-up call, & 1-2 holidays/yr. Orientation is full-time approx 6-7 mos. Tech Ladder seniority & involvement opportunities.
