Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Registered) - Contract Location: New York NY 10011 Schedule: 5 days/week Hours: 7 hours/day (35 hours/week)Position OverviewThe Registered Ultrasound Technologist performs and assists with a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations. This role supports Radiologists during imaging procedures ensures proper operation and maintenance of equipment and provides high-quality patient care while adhering to departmental protocols.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations following established procedures.Operate adjust and maintain ultrasound equipment; take appropriate safety precautions for patient and staff protection.Clean set up and make minor adjustments to imaging equipment as needed.Ensure adequate supplies are stocked and available.Assist with onboarding and mentoring new ultrasound personnel.Capture and upload images to PACS; ensure timely transfer to physician workstations.Respond to phone calls schedule exams and coordinate patient transportation when needed.Perform additional related duties as assigned.Required Skills & ExperienceRegistered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Ultrasound TechnologistProficiency with Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of general office and administrative practicesStrong computer and software skillsEffective problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail accuracy and professionalismEducation & CredentialsARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Additional NotesCandidates must have 2 years of recent experienceFor more details reach at or Call / Text at .About Navitas Healthcare LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
