We seek employees who are passionate about serving andmaking adifference in the lives of others.Our On-Call Benefits: Prorated Vacation Sick and Holiday PayRetirement savings plan with employer match up to 5%AD&D InsurancePublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible EmployerService Contract Act (SCA) PositionHourly Range: $17.20 to $17.80This position is On-Call and would have a possible schedule of 3pm- 12am or 11:30pm-8:30amDuties and ResponsibilitiesThe Guard is responsible for enforcing all laws rules and policies authorized by the Safety and Security Department.Enforces all authorized laws rules and regulations.The Guard performs alarm and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft misappropriation vandalism fire flood or similar disaster suspicious acts and/or persons and other unusual conditions.Provide vehicle transportation support function under direction of supervisor in compliance with government corporate and management directives.Aids and assists visitors students and staff.Performs building security and safety checks.Qualifications Minimum of High School graduate or equivalent.Prefer 1 year of experience in a security department law enforcement agency or experience with security duties.Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record preferred.Prefer Commercial Drivers License (CDL).Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.Additional Requirements:Prefer knowledge of riot and crowd control techniques and law enforcement procedures. Must maintain CPR/FA Certification. Ability to obtain a bus drivers license. Ability to effectively relate to trainee population. Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
