You will maintain an alert and professional presence ensuring the safety and security of the property residents and visitors. Each shift you will monitor entrances and exits allow authorized access and observe for unusual or unsafe conditions. You will respond to incidents document accidents or suspicious activity and call emergency services when necessary. You will maintain detailed daily activity reports using paper computer smartphone or tablet systems. You will assist and greet residents and visitors in a courteous and professional manner strictly follow client rules and policies and represent E.K.G Security Inc. with integrity. Your work may require walking and standing for extended periods climbing stairs or ladders and operating in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.REQUIREMENTS FOR AN UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERHigh school diploma or equivalentValid drivers licenseAt least 18 years oldCustomer service experienceAbility to pass any state-required training or qualifications and complete site-specific training before assignmentCompletion of the State of Georgia 24-hour Basic Security Officer course within six months of hireAbility to operate radio or telephone equipment console monitors and basic computer or tablet softwareStrong communication and writing skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and daily reportsCapability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs climb stairs with loads and stand or walk for extended periodsWillingness to work any shift including weekends holidays and overtime as neededCommitment to maintaining a professional demeanor following client and company policies and upholding safety standardsPossession of a mobile phone and an active email addressAbility to market and represent E.K.G Security Inc. services professionallyIf prior military the ability to provide a DD-214 discharge documentation upon a job offerA LITTLE ABOUT US:We have been protecting clients and properties since 1992.
