The Undergraduate Academic Advisors in CAS Computer Science (CS Advisors) are the primary point of contact for all Computer Science majors and minors, as well as students in other disciplines who seek advice about CS courses and programs. Advisors serve as the academic advisor for all first and second year students majoring, or interested in majoring, in a program offered in the Department of Computer Science. In cooperation with the CAS Academic Advising Center, CS Advisors will help students navigate the University's General Education program (BU Hub) while working with them to develop a plan to realize their academic, career, and life goals. CS Advisors will also participate in First Year Experience programming including teaching first year seminars, planning and leading programs in collaboration with the CAS Office of Student Programs & Leadership, and other administrative duties as needed. Required Skills A cover letter is required for consideration.
