About the unitThe Neonatal ICU is a Critical Care Unit within Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital caring for newborn babies born with various conditions that havent yet been discharged to go home with their family. We build great relationships with the parents of our NICU babies since they are so frequently here at the bedside. We are the largest NICU in Michigan and care for babies from 37 counties. The NICU unit is a 108 bed unit.About Helen DeVos Childrens HospitalWe fight for every child. We have both inpatient and ambulatory spaces as well as a Level 1 trauma Emergency Department designated to children.Scope of workPerforms sanitization duties that require a high level of detail maintains supplies and equipment per hospital and unit specific standards. Greets and directs guests on the unit in a manner that reflects a welcoming environment. Performs other related activities per unit/hospital standard within a reasonable time frame.Please note that there is no direct patient care involved in this support role and it involves 10 hour shifts of sanitizing incubators/bassinets of the NICU babies.Core Schedule This will be full time working 10 hour shifts 4 variable days per week.QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or equivalentHow Corewell Health cares for youComprehensive benefits package to meet your financial health and work/life balance goals.
