It's a summer of growth, adventure, and community set against the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.Who You AreA positive, flexible, and organized leader who thrives in a dynamic environmentExperienced with summer camp and working with kidsA strong communicator who models empathy, curiosity, and enthusiasmExcited to take initiative, solve problems, and help create a safe, joyful camp culturePassionate about the outdoors and ready to spend your summer unplugged and engagedWhat You'll DoLead one of Go West's camper age units and support a team of counselorsPlan and facilitate age-appropriate programmingCommunicate regularly with Site Directors and counselors to ensure smooth daily operationsFoster a culture of respect, safety, and inclusion among campers and staffSupport camper check-in/check-out and interact positively with familiesHelp maintain supplies, equipment, and a clean, organized siteParticipate in staff training and all-camp eventsFine PrintSeasonal Position: Full-time (45–50 hrs/week) during summer, typically scheduled between 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday–Friday.Location: Colorado SpringsCompensation: $16.75/hr starting with overtime at time-and-a-half for hours over 40.Qualifications:Age: 21+Experience working with children (required) and supervising staff (preferred)CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications. Valid driver's license (eligible to drive camp vehicles after training)Physical Requirements: Must be able to move actively throughout camp, supervise children outdoors, and maintain awareness in a dynamic environment.Go West Camps is a drug-, alcohol-, and tobacco-free facility. Participation in occasional overnights and weekend programs may be required.Employment at Go West Camps in contingent on clear State and Federal background checks and fingerprinting.
