Responsibilities
Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit
Assess resident needs and ensure individualized care plans are implemented
Supervise and support nursing staff while promoting quality resident care
Conduct routine nursing rounds and monitor resident outcomes
Coordinate care with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
Educate residents, families, and staff as needed
Participate in staff coaching, development, and performance evaluations
Monitor medication administration and nursing practices
Maintain compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and unit management responsibilities
Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership
Qualifications
Active Wisconsin RN or LPN license in good standing
Previous long-term care experience preferred
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Computer proficiency and experience with electronic health records preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
