Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 annually
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Unit Manager (RN) to join our team at Aviata at Palma Sola Bay, a premier healthcare provider in Bradenton, Florida. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, providing exceptional care to our residents, and leading a team of nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the staffing needs and provide supervision for nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality resident care on the assigned unit.
Assist in staff development and coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Conduct and document a complete data collection of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout the resident's course of treatment.
Assist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned resident.
Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants, and monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements.
Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and work with families and other staff to resolve grievances.
Requirements:
Current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN or LPN.
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility. Minimum 1 year experience in nursing administration.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Ability to provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts.
