SSM Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer:Community Description:About SSM Health:SSM Health Dean Medical Group, a 500+ physician, multi-specialty clinic is actively recruiting an Experienced Physician Assistant for a PRN role to work at our busy Urgent Care departments at both SSM Dean Medical Group Madison East and West clinics.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of one (1) year experience working in an Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine or Primary Care fast-paced setting, comfortable diagnosing and treating children and adults with minor to complex medical problems as well as be experienced in laceration repair and acute fracture care (splinting).Must work a minimum of two (2) shifts per month.Shifts are from 7a-1p and 1p-7p and weekends 8a-4p.Unrestricted Wisconsin Physician Assistant License.Unrestricted Active Wisconsin DEA. OpportunityPRN role offering an experience-based hourly rate and paid malpractice; no other benefits.Fast-paced work environment.Great teamwork and support staff.Department is open Monday-Friday from 7a-7p and on Saturday/Sunday from 8a-4p.SSM Health's healing legacy originated in St. Louis, Missouri over 150 years ago where five nuns, known as the Sisters of St. Mary's, were called to aid and heal in God's name.
