Neuro-Oncologist - Academic and Clinical Opportunity in North CarolinaLocation: Greenville, North CarolinaEmployment Type: Full-TimeSpecialty: Neuro-OncologyPosition Overview:Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Neuro-Oncologist to join their expanding multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will collaborate with specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, radiosurgery, hematology-oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology, and neuropathology. Institutional Highlights:Part of a growing 9-hospital physician-led, private not-for-profit health system across eastern North CarolinaHospital privileges at a 974-bed academic medical center and the region s only American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Academic Comprehensive Cancer CenterEstablished neuro-oncology program with a comprehensive brain tumor care approachMultidisciplinary neuroscience team including: - 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists - Over 20 neurologists with subspecialties in interventional neurology, vascular neurology, neurocritical care, pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring, and neuro-oncology24-bed Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) led by neurointensivists75-bed CARF-accredited rehabilitation center providing inpatient and outpatient supportAdvanced neuro-oncological interventions and technologies including GammaTile therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, CyberKnife radiosurgery, and participation in innovative clinical trialsOpportunity to engage in a 9-hospital cancer care network with 5 Commission on Cancer accredited sites sharing a unified electronic medical record system and pursuing network accreditationActive clinical trials program through ECU Health and East Carolina University s Brody School of Medicine, with membership in the Alliance for Clinical Trials in OncologyInvolvement in teaching and mentorship of hematology-oncology fellows and neurology residentsCompensation and Benefits:Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package including: - Annual CME stipend - Relocation assistance - Vacation, sick leave, and holidays - Malpractice coverage (with tail) - 401(k) matching program and 457(b) plan - Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insuranceCommunity Highlights:Greenville, NC, offers a vibrant community with an affordable cost of living, mild climate, and close proximity to the beautiful beaches of North Carolina.
