Job Description Job Title: LIMS Developer / Data Cleansing Engineer Location: Remote Experience: 5 Years Flexibility: Flexible working hours Job Description We are looking for an experienced LIMS professional with strong SQL and Oracle skills to support a major data-cleansing and environment-setup initiative. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS (v8) strong analytical ability and the capability to work independently in a remote setting. Primary Responsibilities 1. Environmental Setup & System Cloning Configure environments and databases in the client DMZ for data cleansing activities. Validate systems and ensure readiness before data processing. Create and configure data-filtration scripts to filter client and Vantive data while excluding SIMTRA data during continuous replication. Remove security groups permissions and security keys from cloned systems in the DMZ infrastructure. 2. Data Cleansing Analyze database structures and develop cleansing scripts for all relevant tables. Remove SIMTRA-related data (Bloomington and Halle Data) including associated manufacturing sites product codes documents attachments and PII. Ensure all SIMTRA data is completely purged from the cloned system. 3. Testing & Validation Draft and execute verification scripts to ensure zero SIMTRA data is shared with Vantive. Perform regression testing to validate system accuracy post-cleansing. 4. Documentation Prepare detailed documentation to enable Vantive to clone the application on their environment. Provide step-by-step instructions for integrations and system setup on Vantives side. Required Qualifications 5 years of hands-on experience with LIMS (preferably LabVantage v8). Strong experience with SQL and Oracle (ability to write complex queries). Experience in LIMS development & configuration. Solid understanding of build and deployment processes. Advanced technical knowledge of Java modules and frameworks (web services Hibernate JMS). Experience working with Java EE application servers such as Oracle WebLogic JBoss EAP or IBM WebSphere. Strong analytical communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with Jasper Reports is a plus.
