You will coordinate a team of operators to achieve results in the day-to-day operations. This individual will have the ability to aid in coordinating career development plans promote continuous improvement uphold outstanding quality for our customers and cultivate cross-functional relationships to accomplish department objectives aligned with organizational addition this role will collaborate in improving overall safety delivery and facilitate cost-saving projects throughout the department.What will you doLead the team in promoting premier safetyCultivate a right first-time quality mentality by leading investigations into process failures and product failuresIdentify and put into effect suitable measures for correction and preventionAssists in defining efficiency performance benchmarks and attaining results to fulfill organizational objectivesOptimally review metrics to benchmark and drive team performanceRecommend and coordinate improvement activities production methods equipment performance and quality of productImplements Practical Process Improvements (PPI) with significant team member participation and enthusiasm and apply lean methodologies to achieve process efficienciesWorks alongside team members and planning/purchasing teams to develop and implement a manufacturing schedule to meet customer demandsParticipates in internal and external audits responds to audit observations identifies and implements appropriate corrective and preventive actionsEnsure coordination and administration of training sessions as required based on new SOPs and revisions to existing SOPsKeys to Success:EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent is requiredExperience3 years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment preferredKnowledge Skills AbilitiesPrevious experience as a group leader or lead operator in packaging or manufacturing is helpful.
