Used Car Manager at Mosaic Chrysler Zumbrota

Mosaic Auto Group is seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle operations. The ideal candidate will have strong automotive experience excellent market awareness and the ability to drive performance through effective inventory and reconditioning management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the used car department across Mosaic Auto Group standards including acquisition appraisals pricing merchandising and sales strategies.Maximize inventory turn ensuring vehicles are evaluated priced and marketed effectively to achieve monthly turn and profitability objectives.Utilize deep understanding of market values pricing tools and industry trends to keep inventory competitively positioned.Oversee and streamline the reconditioning flow coordinating with service and detail teams to ensure timely cost-efficient vehicle readiness.Monitor inventory aging and implement corrective actions to maintain a healthy and profitable inventory mix.Build and maintain strong working relationships with auctions wholesalers and other sourcing partners.Train mentor and support the sales team in all aspects of the used car business.Ensure compliance with Mosaic Auto Group processes documentation standards and customer satisfaction goals.Qualifications2 to 5 years of experience in used car management or automotive sales management.Strong working knowledge of used vehicle operations including acquisition appraisal pricing strategy and merchandising.Demonstrated ability toturn inventory efficiently while maximizing gross profit.Proficient understanding of market values and valuation tools (e.g. vAuto or similar systems).Solid knowledge of reconditioning processes workflow management and cost control.Strong communication leadership and decision-making skills.Experience with automotive DMS/CRM tools preferred.Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Restaurant Experience,Customer Service,Employee Evaluation,Management Experience,Math,Employment & Labor Law,Sanitation,Leadership Experience,P&L Management,Mentoring,Supervising Experience,Restaurant Management Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
