**Job Title: Used Car Reconditioning Technician**All tools provided!**Job Overview:**We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our dynamic automotive team. As a key member of our service department you will be responsible for inspecting repairing and preparing pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high-quality standards before being offered for sale. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing the overall value of our used car inventory.**Key Responsibilities:**- Conduct thorough inspections of pre-owned vehicles to identify necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance work on a variety of vehicle makes and models.- Collaborate with the service team to diagnose vehicle issues and determine the most efficient solutions.- Ensure vehicles meet company standards through quality control inspections and test drives.- Maintain detailed records of reconditioning activities- Coordinate with other departments such as sales and inventory management to facilitate the timely reconditioning of vehicles.- Continuously improve technical skills by staying informed about the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.**Qualifications:**- Proven experience as an automotive technician or in a related reconditioning role.- Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques.- Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment used in vehicle repair and maintenance.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.- ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.**What We Offer:**- Competitive hourly guarantees with performance bonuses.
