Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:The Millwork Rider plays a critical role in the successful delivery of millwork products, ensuring that all materials are transported safely and efficiently to job sites. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to verify that all items are accounted for and handled with care to prevent damage. Minimum Qualifications:Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Basic knowledge of millwork products and handling requirements.Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely.Strong organizational and communication skills.Some Overtime may be required.Responsibilities:Safely transport millwork products from the warehouse or production facility to various job sites, adhering to all safety and transportation regulations.Inspect millwork items prior to delivery to confirm accuracy, completeness, and quality, reporting any discrepancies or damages immediately.Assist with the unloading and staging of millwork materials at job sites, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.Be on time to work.Skills:The Millwork Rider utilizes strong organizational skills daily to ensure all materials reach their destinations on time. Physical stamina and safe material handling techniques are applied consistently to load and unload trucks without causing damage or injury. Familiarity with millwork products allows the rider to identify and report any defects or discrepancies accurately. Additionally, proficiency with delivery documentation and tracking tools ensures that all logistical information is recorded and shared efficiently, supporting overall project success.
