Youll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.Youll play a critical role in delivering technical designs and solutions for power supply and distribution systems for electrified transit systems ensuring the seamless operation of DC traction power substations and medium/low voltage distribution systems. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (engineering suppliers and installation contractors) create single-line diagrams and control schematics and much more.Well look to you for:Reviewing analyzing and managing customer technical specificationsCreating single line diagrams and control schematicsPerforming power distribution analysis: equipment sizing load flow voltage drop short circuit protection coordination power quality and arc flashDeveloping customer design documentation and participating in design reviewsProviding power supply system interface requirements to external design teamsCreating equipment technical specifications and evaluating supplierSupporting site installation testing and commissioningUnderstanding and applying power distribution fundamentals to ensure reliable and efficient system design.All about youWe value passion and attitude over experience.
