This position will ensure locates are completed correctly safely and efficiently. This position will coach develop and build strong rapport with their team. A successful candidate will be someone with previous leadership experience or lead technician experience. This candidate will have excellent people and communication skills as well as strong time management skills.ResponsibilitiesInteract and build rapport with assigned technicians Train and develop technicians skillsLocate and mark underground utility linesTroubleshoot difficult locates with techniciansBuild a strong team culture by serving as a positive role modelEnsure technicians have adequate inventories/suppliesComplete JBOs in a timely manner and coach any area of concernReview technicians daily workload and analyze for areas of improvement Perform high priority audits as neededThoroughly investigate damages as they occurReview GPS Exception Report daily and address concerns as needed Partner with HR and Field Leadership to address employee relations issuesEnsure policies and procedures are followedReview SAMSARA footage and address concerns as neededWear appropriate PPE and follow established safety procedures and policiesRequirementsCurrent USIC Supervisor Lead Technician tenured tech or for external candidates supervisory experience in a field-based industry strongly preferred.No final written warnings in the last 12 months(internal)Satisfactory attendance record (internal)Driving score of 70 or above (per Samsara app internal)6 months of tenure(internal)Ability to exercise good judgment and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills Exhibits solid leadership skillsAbility to work independently and manage time efficientlyWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
