Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLocated in Grantsburg, WISalary: $18+ per hourJob Summary:The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing precision parts using automated equipment and accurate measurements. Pay for this position is $18+ an hour depending on experience and qualifications. 1st shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operate and do simple set ups on a CNC Mill. Operate and adjust auxiliary equipment.Check parts produced for dimensional and finish conformance to specifications. Adjust machine as required and correct any deviations that may occur. Perform operational sequence planning. Suggest improvements for standard or special tooling to suit materials or unusual cutting conditions. Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Remove machined parts, bar ends and turnings from machine.Maintain statistical process control charting.Use all standard, variable, and attribute gauging to check work. Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.Minimum of 1 year of machining experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.Must be able to do tool grinding, sharpening, and make proper tool selection.Competent in the use of computers.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
