Utility Porter at ABM

DescriptionThe Utility Day Porter / Light Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring a clean safe and well-maintained environment throughout the facility during operating hours. For information about ABMs benefits visitABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older No experience required and on the job training provided No high school diploma GED or college degree requiredPreferred Qualifications: Customer service experience 1 year of similar work experienceResponsibilities:Cleaning & Porter Services:Maintain cleanliness of lobbies hallways restrooms break rooms and other common areas.Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.Restock restroom supplies (paper towels soap toilet paper).Respond promptly to spills messes and other urgent cleaning requests.Perform outdoor tasks such as sweeping walkways and maintaining entry areas.Light Maintenance:Replace light bulbs batteries and perform minor repairs (door handles fixtures etc.).Assist with furniture moves event setups and basic facility adjustments.Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance issues to management.Use basic hand tools for small repairs and upkeep.A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
