Utility/Production Worker (3rd Shift)

We are seeking a dedicated Utility/Production Worker to join our team on the third shift. The primary responsibilities will include palletizing plastic pipes as they come off the production line, building pallets to the correct number and length, wrapping pallets, and preparing them for shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Palletize plastic pipes as they come off the production line.
• Build pallets to the correct number and length.
• Wrap pallets and prepare them for shipment.
• Work both inside and outside as needed, dealing with the elements at times.

Essential Skills:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Reliability in performing tasks and responsibilities.
• Prior experience in production or manufacturing preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a manufacturing environment that produces plastic pipes. The shipping yard, where all pipes are stored, has large bay doors that are often open, exposing workers to outdoor elements. Shifts include 1st shift (8 am - 4 pm), 2nd shift (4 pm - 12 am), and 3rd shift (12 am - 8 am), with two paid breaks and a lunch. Be prepared for overtime, as the facility is operating seven days a week, even outside the busy season.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MECHANICSBURG, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
