This includes access to a suite of offerings including but not limited to: health insurance 401k with company match pension paid parental leave select discounted childcare resources education assistance and more.Whats in it For You:The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a growing company that is passionate about protecting the worlds vital resourcesAbundant advancement opportunities within the Pest Division and across broader EcolabWork collaboratively in an active environment with a team of fumigation experts Receive a company service vehicle for business useAccess to best-in-class resources tools and technologyWhat You Will Do:You will be responsible for working with a variety of customers in the hospitality and other commercial businesses to identify and solve pest problemsKeep abreast of Ecolabs product/service offerings and industry conditions to enhance service and sales of pest prevention/elimination solutionsUse handheld computerized equipment to manage service and document structural sanitation and pest issues and gas monitoring equipment to conduct readings during fumigationsAssist with the complete fumigation process including but not limited to sealing tarping introduction of fumigant conducting fume readings and aerating/de-gassingfacilitiesRead understand follow labels and MSDS forms for hazardous chemicals used during services providedInspect maintain and utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) properlyFollow proper safetyprotocolsincludingOSHA mandatedand customerspecified guidelinesUse equipment involved infumigationmanagement services including electronic devices for recording and reporting dataPosition Details:As an Industry leader it is no surprise Ecolab offers a world class training program designed to provide the tools and resources for you to be one of the best in your field. During your training program you will be required to travel to Ecolab Corporate Headquarters in Saint Paul Minnesota for 1 of the 7 weeks. The remaining weeks will be in-field training. Ecolab will arrange and pay for your travel and certain travel-related expenses.This position requires successful completion of the 7-week in-field and classroom training program to maintain employment.2 of the weeks will be focusing on fumigation and the other 5 on pest elimination.This is a field-based position and may require travel to the following cities and surrounding areas:Savannah GACombination route - some of the route is day work & some of the route is overnight/graveyard work (9/10pm to 5/6am)Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentTwoyears ofwork or military experiencePosition requires a current and valid Drivers LicenseDue to the nature and hours of work must be 18 years of age or olderWillingness to be on-call during off work hours and weekends as necessaryPosition requires the ability to work overnight shifts as neededAnticipate 50% or more overnight travel for business during peak seasonPosition requires understanding and interpreting English labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous chemicalsPosition requires the ability to obtain a TWIC cardto access secure facilitiesPosition requires the ability to obtain a CDL with Hazmat endorsementPosition requires the ability to obtain required pest certification fumigation licensing and/or business licensing pursuant to state/local lawEcolab conducts a background check on all candidates who receive a job offerDue to federal contract requirements this Pest Elimination position requires a drug test including THC for all candidates who receive a job offerImmigration sponsorship not available for this rolePhysical Demands:Position requires wearing and using a respirator or Self-Contained Breathing ApparatusPosition requires lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying up to 70 pounds chest highPosition requires working in a variety of conditions which may include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locations freezing and hot conditions extreme heights of up to 150 feet and use of ladders scissor lifts or arial boom liftsEssential duties of the position include lifting stooping kneeling crouching bending reaching climbing using hands and fingers balancing walking standing talking and hearingDrive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)Preferred Qualifications:Previous customer service experiencePrevious pest elimination industry or route experienceExperience working with reading product labels computing and mixing accurate concentrations of chemicals following all label requirementsAnnual or Hourly Compensation RangeThe pay range for this position is $47400-$71000.
