This role is primarily responsible for inspecting incoming computer equipment to determine whether units should be recycled or refurbished for resale. Eligibility and Employer Sponsored Plans can be found within each of the links offered.Job City & State:Chapel Hill, NCClassification Title:Temporary-Service MaintenanceWorking Title:UTS - Temporary Computer Technician - Inspection and Customer Support at UNC Chapel HillWork Schedule:Monday - Friday, 40hrs per week, (onsite)Other Work/Responsibilities:Other duties as neededDepartment Required Skills:Key Responsibilities:Receive and inspect incoming computer hardware.Evaluate condition and functionality to determine recycling or refurbishment.Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on refurbishable units.Document inspection results and maintain inventory records.Provide technical support to customers regarding refurbished computers.Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth operationsSome duties involve retrieving equipment from a heated work shed.
