AsUX Designer youll work as part of a dynamic agile scrum team collaborating with developers business analysts and federal government customers to research propose and develop design components for a public-facing suite of federal government web applications.We know that you cant have great technology services without amazing people. Value for our customers.If you think you can see yourself delivering our mission and pursuing our goals with us then check out the job description below!What youll do:You will work as part of a highly collaborative high-performing agile scrum team working with analysts and developers to refine requirements propose design components and enhance the usability of features for a public-facing suite of federal government web applications.You will participate in all agile ceremonies and serve as the Design SME across multiple cross-functional teams.What youll need to succeed:Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability3 years experience as a UX Designer supporting a web-based application3 years experience using design tools including AdobeXD Mural and Invision to create userflows prototypes wireframes and mockups3 years experience developing UX artifacts supporting design research and architecture3 years experience conducting user research testing designs with end users synthesizing system data presenting findings to different stakeholder groups and finding qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate designsStrong understanding of business requirements and how they impact design and a users digital experienceExperience using Atlassian suite of tools in support of large-scale development in a kanban or scrum environmentSALARY RANGE: $92000 - $115000The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications skills and relevant experience.
