We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Austin TX USAAre you passionate about shaping the future of Third party security through user-centered research Secure Third Party Tools (S3T) is seeking a customer-obsessed UX Researcher to join our team and uncover insights that will help reimagine the future of secure third party tools.You will lead in-depth studies to deeply understand the needs behaviors and pain points of builders security stakeholders and translate those insights into actionable opportunities that shape product strategy and experience design. Our mission is to elevate and maintain Amazons security standards ensuring the highest level of protection for our diverse customer base including shoppers Amazon builders and internal security & compliance team. We are looking for a mixed-methods researcher who can generate evidence-based insights that drive product clarity customer trust and meaningful outcomes at scale.Key job responsibilitiesLead comprehensive journey mapping Jobs-to-Be-Done and exploratory research to understand builders security stakeholders needs across third party security.Design and execute mixed-method research studies across in-person remote diary studies contextual inquiry surveys usability testing.Inform segmentation mental models and persona development for S3T group.Partner closely with Product Design Engineering Data Science and Business stakeholders to integrate insights into roadmaps experiments and long-term strategy.Synthesize findings across multiple research workstreams to identify patterns opportunities risks and unmet needs.Influence decision-making through clear storytelling artifacts and strategic recommendations.Advocate for the customer perspective across the organization and elevate research maturity.A day in the lifeThe Secure Third Party Tools (S3T) engineering team develops and maintains advanced security solutions to protect customers data across Amazons third-party partnerships. We build robust capabilities to establish and enforce security standards for third-party partners (3Ps) while continuously assessing monitoring and remediating potential vulnerabilities. The base pay for this position ranges from $117100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
