Job Title: UX Researcher Location: Role is based in Plano TX with a minimum of 3 days in-office per week (Tuesday Wednesday Thursday). Duration: Ongoing Contract Full 40 Hours Details: Point of Pain/Reason for need: Recent layoffs impacted the design system team. The company is refocusing efforts on its most profitable business unit-Component Manufacturing (CM)-and is preparing for a major product showcase in 11 months. These roles will support CM and help elevate the UX maturity of the organization. What is this person going to be doing every day (Day in the Life): Lead strategic research initiatives across multiple product lines Design and execute mixed-method research (qualitative quantitative) Deliver actionable insights that influence product roadmaps and business strategy Mentor junior researchers and promote best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research drives decisions Advocate for thoughtful evidence-based design in a traditionally fast-paced screen-heavy industry Top 1 2 3 (Must-Have Experience & Software): 5 years of UX research experience in enterprise or complex product environments Expertise in both generative and evaluative research methods Must have direct experience in construction/manufacturing Software & Equipment: Will be provided Team/Who are they working with: Product Managers Designers Engineers Associate and UX Researchers Nice to Haves: Experience in construction architecture or building industry Familiarity with CAD software Experience in healthcare or medical industries especially with complex dashboards Ability to work in hybrid roles (design research) Strong storytelling and documentation skills (PDF or PowerPoint portfolios acceptable) Key Skills Intelligence Community Experience,Python,Spss,Microsoft Word,R,Regression Analysis,Windows,Stata,Microsoft Powerpoint,Research Experience,Data Modeling,Writing Skills Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
